Welcome

Hi everyone. I'm a high school student that goes to NUAMES (Northern Utah Academy of Math Engineering and Science). Over the past couple of months, we've been working on a plan to change our way of living. In America, we consume and use nonrenewable resources at an alarming rate. To some, this is the cause for the slowly rising temperature of our Earth. However, we have a plan to help combat this rising problem: wind power in schools. We need to help educate students about renewable resources, and the great benefit they can have on society. Our solution can't come from the leaders of today, but need to come from the leaders of tomorrow. Over the next few months we'll help you all to stay informed about our progress as well as how you can help. Thanks!

well. i for one agree with u. we should try to find an alternate fuel. gasoline won't last forever and it would be good to have less dependency on foreign countries that could possibly be hostile. i'm all for using wind and solar energy. it is a much cleaner healthier way to power everything. i'm glad that u have decided to start something about it.

I think what you guys are doing is a great idea... I, like everyone else am still upset over the extreme gas prices and the environmental harm we are doing with all of these fossil fuels. I really like the idea of wind, mostly because it is so clean and durable in pretty much any area. I would really like to see you guys get to put up your own wind turbine. I think everyone wants alternative energy and a cleaner world, but you guys are actually doing something about it. For that I say thank you.
